Why don't they have a cure for eczema?

You would think they would have a cure for eczema by now. I’ve dealt with eczema most of my life and I’m getting tired of it. I just want to take a potato peeler and peel all my skin off. It’s nasty.

There is a cure for eczema. Like someone already pointed out, it’s all about the money. The pharmaceutical companies sure don’t want you spending your money on natural products that will do a lot better than what they’re pushing.
If I were you, I would have an allergy test done. See what it is that you’re allergic to. If you’ve already had that done and the results were negative have someone else perform the test. Could be hereditary, but even if it is, there is something that is causing your eczema to be so bad.
Eczema outbreaks are caused by something. And what that something is will be your key to getting control of this. When your skin gets a rash, that is your body letting you know that hey, something is wrong here on the inside. Your body is using the skin to try to remove the toxins from within. Trying to push it out the skin pores to protect your vital organs.
You can find all sorts of information on the internet on safe ways to treat the symptoms of eczema. And most of them are terrific. So much better than medications. But if the eczema is starting to ooze with infection, get to a doctor and at least get that taken care of before you try a natural treatment.

Have your doc check if it’s something in your diet you may have a food allergy . I feel for ya . My son son gets it off and on. It has to do with if he eats mostly products with eggs. I myself wish they would have some type of cure.
They could have a cure for it, they just might not want to reveal it to the public yet….
The Japanese do, with special ionized water. But people in US thinks it’s rubbish. I used to have eczema, and I drink kangen water and used it on my face. I dont have it anymore.
probably so they can make money off of creams/prescriptions..

Hi Michael. The reason that there is no medical cure for eczema is not that someone is trying to hide it from you for some mysterious reason.
The problem is that there are too many causes for eczema, and not all these causes are the same for everybody. For example many people can trigger eczema through eating certain types of foods, but other people with eczema can safely eat these foods.
Some peoples eczema can be triggered by being near cats and dogs, while other sufferers may not have the same problem with pets.
It is too hard to make some sort of pill that is going to work for everyone with eczema, and manage to cover every potential cause of eczema.
Some medications can be helpful for some but completely useless for others. It’s a hit and miss situation.
Because of this more people are starting to use natural eczema cures, and these types of remedies can often offer real results. The other thing is that because these eczema remedies are natural, you will not get the side effects that can come with certain medications.

The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I’ve turned to the natural treatments.
