What should people with eczema avoid eating?

I have Eczema on my hand and little on my neck.My doctor said I should avoid eating some food, but he did not say what foods.Please help form a list that shows what foods people with Eczema should avoid.

Although there are certain types of food that can act as triggers for eczema, not all types of these foods will affect all eczema sufferers in the same way. For example, some sufferers will find that eggs will make their condition worse, while other sufferers will have no problem with eating eggs.
Th reason that eczema cannot be cured through the use of medications is because there are too many variables in the causes, and no one treatment will work the same way for everyone.
Your best bet is to try a systematic approach, where you get a list of foods that commonly trigger eczema and try cutting them out one at a time for a couple of weeks, to see if the condition improves.
Here is a list to start you off
Milk
Eggs
Cheese
White Sugar
Wheat
Seafood
Nuts
Foods with high levels of fat
The other thing is to see what is going on around you. Eczema can be triggered by something that is coming into contact with your skin, so try changing your washing powder, soaps, shampoos, stuff you use to clean the house, certain smells, and also if you have a cat or a dog, the hairs can increase eczema, so use gloves to handle any pets.
A good way to try and get rid of eczema is to make your immune system stronger. This can be done through eating different types of foods. Remember that your immune system is having difficulty fighting eczema, this is why you get the symptoms.

Try the pure oil of oregano-got rid of my rash-doctors couldn’t cure. Fill a size 0 gel cap and take internally 2 times a day or so, and, dilute w/olive oil for on the skin. Three days later mine was gone-after 14 months of horror for me. Also, cayenne, hot sauce, alcohol: beer, wine stay away from, mustard/hot. Get well soon! Oh, this oil cures strep throat, ear aches etc,too. Pretty powerful-this might help you-depending on what the reason you have it in the first place. Pure diet, lots of water, vegetarian diet, bland food.
The most common food allergies for eczema sufferers are milk, eggs, wheat, and soy. Other foods that can cause allergic reactions include fish and shellfish, certain types of nuts, and other cow’s milk products.
The best thing to do is to focus on treating the underlying cause of the eczema and minimize the flare ups by:
- bathing using warm, not hot, water and a very mid soap
- using a cream or petroleum jelly based moisturizer on wet skin after bathing or washing hands.
- moisturize throughout the day as the need arises. Avoid using lotions as they tend to dry out the skin
- pat excess water from skin after moisturizing as rubbing irritates the skin
- wear cotton clothing
- avoid the use of detergents, fabric softeners and dryer sheets with perfumes and/or dyes

Many foods that cause common allergy problems can often cause outbreaks of eczema in those who do not suffer from other forms of allergic reactions. Even if you believe you are not allergic to a particular food, if you are experiencing eczema you may want to cut back on items such as wheat, corn, eggs, and nuts. It is important to remember not only basic forms of these foods, but other products that might contain them as well, such as corn syrup, or convenience mixes found in the store.
