Eczema is an immune system dissorder...Not serious ofcourse, but maybe a defect in the dogs immune system or maybe even dietary...Lack of a certain nutrient, probably an enzyme or protien..
A hot spot can very well be eczema only concentrated to one spot...Lucky dogger...lol
My advice  to you ? Take a look at doggers food ingredients...Is poultry or lamb the first ingredient ? Well there ya go...</description>
