I have rashes on my body called eczema, and my cream just isn’t working.
Can someone help me?

Its better to go see a doctor.
Im going tomorrow because I have eczema around my eyes, on my collar bone, neck, my arms, and the lower parts of my legs.
It is so bad that I couldnt sleep last night.
The doctor prescribes ointment that will clear it up really fast!
You can goto your family doctor and he/she will most likely prescribe you a steroid cream. You can also get this from your local drug store (but the cortizone concentration will be lower than the prescription stuff). However, using steroid creams for a prolonged period of time is unhealthy for your skin as it will thin it out thus making your skin susceptible to cuts/infection/bleeding/etc.
As an alternative, you should consume lots of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Flaxseed oil (or Flax oil) is great for this. Make sure you get the refrigerated bottle format, the pill format is not as affective. Take the oil 3 times a day (with each meal, don’t take it on any empty stomach or it’ll cause diarrhea). Also, get Poke seed extract/oil, it’s been used by Native Americans for ages to help with eczema. You can get both of these things at any health food or organic store (I got mine from WholeFoods). I’ve found it also REALLY helps to cut out dairy foods and fried foods… not sure why but that’s what works for me.
I’ve had eczema for 12 years now and after 3 years the cortizone cream stopped working for me. This alternative approach cures up my eczema within 2 weeks when it starts to pop up again. I guess you could just continue to consume flaxseed oil every day but the stuff tastes pretty awful.
Anyways, good luck!

There is not a cream to prevent eczema. Most eczema skin irritations are caused by allergies. My son has eczema and I have used many types of prescription medications from the doctor with short term results. When I learned that my son will be using some kind of skin cream until his eczema is under control I began using a 100% natural skin care cream and soap from http://www.sheafromnature.com. They have a product called Eczema Relief Butter and African Black Soap. They also have a Eczema Relief Duo which includes the eczema butter and soap. It reduced the itchiness, and repaired and cleared up his scarred skin. They also have free shipping. I hope this helps.
The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I’ve turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use serenaskin herbal remedies , which aim at the root of the disease – the immune system, and are steroid-free.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.
I would suggest you use Dr Hess Udder Ointment found at http://www.udderointment.com. It is amazing on all skin conditions including dry skin, eczema, diaper rash, chafing, cuts, burns…you name it. It’s been around for 100 years and is an old tried and true farm remedy that works fantastic on human and animal skin. I use cetaphil and have been for the last 12 years. It keeps my skin moisturized, but does not prevent well.
On a side note, Aquaphor (?) definitely didn’t work for me. It just dried my skin up worse than before I had put it on. So stay away from that.
For a natural way to help my skin I take vitamin E soft gels, open them up and spread the oil on my skin. It helps calm my skin while breaking out.
If you’re going to get steroids they help while broken out, but don’t use them every day. In the long run it makes your skin thin. But if your doctor asks you if you want it in a jar or tube, pick the jar. The tube gets holes and leaks. yuck!
good luck!
