Hi, it’s horses for courses as they say. You can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet (just google "natural treatment of eczema") – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and then they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: Champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work – it’s free.
Cheers,
Stella
There is no cure. I assume you’ve tried cortisone (steroid) creams?
Susceptibility to most forms of eczema is genetic and unavoidable. Knowing what allergens and irritants to avoid can help you get through life without being inconvenienced by eczema.
Other tips to help you deal with eczema include:
Bathe in cool or tepid water with gentle soap. Try unscented baby soap.
Use moisturizers immediately after you bathe to keep the moisture locked in. Avoid moisturizers with perfumes, as they may worsen the condition. Try unscented Vaseline Intensive Care.
Avoid scratching affected areas. Some people wear cotton gloves at night to prevent scratching in their sleep.
Keep your fingernails short.
Don’t let sweat stay on your skin.
Avoid clothes that don’t let the skin breathe.
