What can cause severe eczema on a baby's cheeks? Allergy testing came back negative. Could it be teething?

My son is 14 months old. His cheeks get bright red sometimes. It tends to coincide with fever. Other times his face is perfectly clear.

it could be he has an infection! go see a doctor!!!!!
It gonna disappear, mine have had those eczema till his 2years and half, when the eczema is heavy, doctor gave some corticoid based drugs that helped reducing it a bit , and i remember we used some high fat shampoo for his face.
It all gone now and his face is clear since then (3years and 3 months).
The heat brings it out, but the immunizations have egg whites in them which they have found that a lot of children are allergic to, that’s why they recommend children not have any until after a year. It’s injected in early in life. My oldest daughter lives with this (she’s 23 now). That was before I knew all I did and quit immunizations. Aveeno helps a lot.
My son had this problem whenever the weather was cold and dry.
Use Cortizone cream 1%
