I am due to commence phototherapy treatment for my eczema..atopic…and have been told that I shouldn’t moisturise my self prior to the uv treatment. My predicament is that I have to travel by bus to to hospital where the reatment is received but going a couple of hours after a shower without moisturising myslef will cause my skin to dry and flake…embarassing at the best of times but how do I deal with this? Just for the sake of completeness I am not allowed to moisturise prior to treatment as the creams may cause the treatment to ‘burn’my skin…!
Any suggestions!

Does any one have any advice on what i should use for it? I put baby aveeno on his face but it is still dry? He also has blocked pores that look like dirt inside. He scratches at his face when he sleeps so with the dry skin, dirty pores and scratches. My little boy looks like a mess. Any advice?

I am an eczema sufferer and I was wondering if any of you guys out there have effective home remedies to cure it or any happy-ending stories about your experience with treating it?
I’m sick of using these steroid creams because their effect fades away overtime. I am also sick of surfing the internet only to find ‘ex-eczema sufferers’ who "understand your painful situation and know the cure just for you!" but hypocritically end up forcing you to pay to buy their book.

Approximately how long can it take to recover from steroid-induced Cushinoid symptons like the puffy face, or Moonface?
The steroid in question was Fucibet cream for the treatment of eczema.

Recently my eczema has flared up again after about a year of not having it. Last year i got prescribed with some cream called Oilatum , it worked last year but this year it doesn’t seem to be helping. I am going to see a doctor in a few days. Is there any way that i could prevent myself from itching (distractions etc) and stop the burning in the mean time?
