8 month old with eczema on treatment with GP & Naturopath, lotions/diet etc. Very sensitive to temp change & live in humid climate. Want to know optimal humidity level (%) and temperature as we need to use air conditioning to maintain summer environment. Used humidifyer in winter (too much/not enough seems to affect him both ways)

I don’t know, but mine really flared up while I was in Phoenix, AZ this past summer with their dry climate. I normally live in a humid climate.
consult a dermatologist because they will know which products will actually work best for you.
I don’t know that there is a set humidity level to alleviate eczema, it probably depends on the individual. You can take your child to the beach because the beach air is supposed to be very good for eczema. I always seem to have a bit of a flare-up when the seasons change but as long as I stay well moisturized, there isn’t much of a problem. Rest assured, however, that with time the problem should get a lot better. When I was younger, I had terrible eczema, but now I find that it is a lot more managable. Good Luck!
