I thought it was eczema. It looks like little spots of his hair is missing or there are little white spots that you can see right through the hair. Its started on his head and now its on his back also. Does anyone know what it could be?

It’s good to give him an over the countner pill such as benedryl or just give him an bath using dog oatmal shampoo.
I would take him to the vet because if he is losing hair it could also be mange or if it is eczema then the vet can give you medicine to treat it so he will not itch so bad.
Dogs can encounter just as many skin conditions as humans. This time of the year is known as allergy season for dogs. It may be an environmental reaction, or… because the hair is missing, it may even be a hormonal problem. If you are concerned, go to the vet. The longer you wait, the worse the problem might become, and the more you will have to pay for services.
Sounds like a form of mange. Take the dog to the vet. Alot of skin conditions have to do with the food that you are feeding to it. Try a good organic food. That should help
No, but i’m pretty sure a good vet would know more than anyone here could tell you.
could be hot spots , or have you checked him for ringworm.
I would give him a bath with 7 % Iodine w/ aloe.. (can get at any feed store)
and treat him like that first.. and then check with a vet if it gets worse.
Vet please.
Although it sounds like a dermal allergy.
could be what they call hot spots , but see a vet it could get worst
could be ringworm, bring to vet asap cuz you could get it too!!
Go to the vet. It could be a form of mange or it could be ringworm! Either way, a vet needs to get involved. Good Luck.
You should take him to the vet and have him properly diagnosed, it could be several different things.
pyoderma,
I have had it on my bullie I use malesab shampoo, some antibiotics to clear it up and 1/4- 1/2 chlortrimeton a day…
http://www.revivalanimal.com for the shampoo
it heals quickly ( 7-10 days ) but can come back seasonally…
A skin staph infectcion may be another possibility. If the hair is missing in a circular patch, and if you scrape the area gently with a fingernail — and end up pulling up hair and dead flaking skin, your dog may have a skin staph infection. Topical and/or oral antibiotics would be prescribed.
