The repeat prescription means you don't have to keep going to the GP just a trip to the chemist. Good luck! So I would suggest you follow your doctors advice with creams etc and try to get back to basics. As much as possible do not use Biological washing powder or perfumed softeners and avoid highly coloured foods. It is a nightmare finding out what makes it worse and it takes a long time but it is worth the effort and it can only be done by a process of elimination. The stuff that was applied to the skin was all ointment (clear - with the texture of vaseline) - we were advised that creams are more irritating to the skin. My daughter never suffered from ezcema again and has perfect skin now, so it hasn't done any harm. Good luck- I hope you find something that works for your baby.
