Is there any product that you've found really helps with baby eczema?
My 6 month old daughter has had eczema since she was 4 months old…it’s in the creases of her ankles, creases of her legs, arms, etc.
I put regular lotion on her 2 times a day, and I use a special (and expensive–!) ezcema lotion that the doctor recommended buying at the drugstore. But it doesn’t seem to be helping at all.
Any product that you found helpful? Thanks!
She started on cereal at about 4 1/2 months. No solids til she was 5 months.

My daughter has had mild eczema a few times since she was born. I bought Aveeno lotion that’s especially for eczema, and it’s okay to use on babies and toddlers. It really seems to have helped, and it was only about $6.
sudocream
It could be from anything like the laundry detergent you use, to the soaps. My 2nd daughter had eczema as does my son. Their doctor suggested using a detergent like All Free and Clear. It’s actually much better for babies who have eczema then Dreft and the perfumy baby detergents are. Also use a gentle soap like Dove or Cetaphil. For lotions, I was told the best thing to use is the cheap Vaseline. Thick creams like Eucerin (The cream in the tub, not the lotion) are said to be better than the lotions. Eczema can also be caused by food intollerance. Did you begin feeding her at 4 months? If so to me it seems like more than a coincidence.
aquafir lotion. Worked wonders for me!
What worked for our child is Salcura Dermaspray Gentle, it’s #1 in Britain.
We’ve used Salcura now about 6 months. Our son’s skin was very inflamed around his ankles and wrists and he would scratch himself till he bled if we didn’t watch him or have bandages on him. Salcura was 10 times better than anything else we tried, plus it’s over the counter, all natural, easy to apply and has no mess whatsoever. The more we’ve used it the less we’ve had to spray our child, at first we sprayed him 4 times a day. now it’s about once every 2 or 3 days as needed.
Salcura stopped the itch in seconds the very first time we used it and the inflammation subsided about 50 percent after only the first day. His skin looks perfect now unless he has a flair up. When he has a eczema flair up, we spray his skin and by morning it’s usually back to normal.
This stuff really worked for our child and I’ve seen other reviews from people with similar dramatic results. I’ve also read reviews from people that had less dramatic results as well, but all say they had an improvement in their skin and less itch as well.
Hope this helps you.
