Is it Eczema or something else?
Right now I’m dealing with skin condition that my doctors can’t seem to hone in on. The symptoms are moderate bubbling (can see small clear pockets) underneath the top layer of skin only occuring on the finger tips. These bubbles are filled with a water or saline like liquid. Some mild itching. Then after bubbling occurs, skin dries out and starts peeling, flaking, and sometimes cracks open and shows some redness. Then new layer of skin grows in and cycle continues.
Is this eczema or something else? It doesn’t seem to occur when around allergens, but when I endure long periods of stress (like over a month) it is very prominate. Any ideas or know of anything to help supress it? Thank you.

It’s psoriasis. Check out the website for the source. Just remember it’s important to read the descriptions and don’t be frightened off by the pictures. The pictures at there website seem to be those with a severe cases like I ended up getting. It starts as a blister and itches. When it dries up, your skin starts to flake. Most of the time it itches something horrible.
I started off having a moderate amount of psoriasis on my hands as far back as a kid. It got procressively worse as I turned 50.
I went to my regular physician who just told me to put some creams on it because they indicated it was eczema. That didn’t work, so I went to a Dermatologist for help. He treated me for eczema until the symptoms got worse. He in turn sent me to a Dermatologist who specialized in the treatment of psoriasis. Try to find a Dermatologist in your area who treats this disease because you’ve feel like your not alone because someone understands your condition.
You’re absolutely right when you said it flares up when you stressed. This is a auto-immune disorder.
Today, I take Raptiva injections to keep my psoriasis in remission. Don’t use any types of products with fragnances in them and get as much sun as you can.
Unfortunely with psoriasis I also have psoriatic athritis which normally goes hand and hand. Good luck and take care of yourself!
