I don't know why you can't believe that, the thyroid regulates just about everything in your body. Dry skin, and eczema like skin is a possible symptom of hypothyroidism.

you can get dry skin with hypothyroidism, also dry hair/scalp. it may be able to get dry enough to constitute eczema, i'm not sure though. the usual symptoms are weight gain, lack of energy, increased appetite.

It can be. I have a seriously messed up thyroid. I know when my meds are off because I get eczema on my scalp, like dandruff, but more nasty. It's a sure sign that I need to go to my endocrinologist. That and I am seriously tired for no reason. Not sleepy, exactly, just worn out.

Eczema can be caused by a lot of things, though.
