Yes, dry skin increases the effect of eczema. To avoid dry skin use safe soap. Avoid the skin cleansers or scrubs, as they can further irritate the damaged areas. Choose a fat-based soap that is also unscented and to patch-test it before you use. After soaping, you should rinse with plenty of water, never use sponges or other scrubbing material, only tap-dry, not rub-dry and afterwards use oil-based lotions.
glycerin is PERFECT for eczema
you should be able to find it at bath and bpdy works
if your a guy, ask a friend of yours thats a girl to go if you feel uncomfortable
Eczema and Dry-Skin are pretty much the same thing.
Speak to a doctor about getting a steroid-cream for problem areas of Eczema, and use a good quality moisturiser for all over the body/arms/hands/legs/face, etc.
Neutrogena is what I was prescribed by my dermatologist, along with a soap substitute which has done wonders for my skin. No problems for well over a year now!
Moisturizer, Vitamin E and drink a lot of water. It’s a bad time of year for dry skin, I get it when it’s cold out as well, but not too bad. I think eczema has some relationship, but if you have eczema you should probably talk to a doctor about it.
