How to get rid of skin discoloration caused by eczema?

I have severe eczema, and after an outbreak clears up I am left with very bad discoloration (the area turns very pale and white). Now I have extremely splotchy looking skin. I moisturize every day and I am very healthy. If my legs look this horrible at the age of 14, I am afraid of what they will look like when I am older! What can I do to fix this?

I have eczema as well, and the only advice I can offer is to get rid of the tan you have now (so the skin colors are level) and then tan them together. This would only help if you were very white/pale in the first place which isn’t very common? (I have a naturally very pale skin color but can tan to extreme amounts.)
I wish you dear luck, I know it’s tough but hopefully one day there will be something out there for us.
You can ask you doctor, they can give you something that bleaches your skin so you put it on the dark spots only….its pretty cool……my cousin had it
i have the same problem and i really have no clue what to do about it i try tanning but that really doesnt do much at all, the dr says to moisturize but it doesnt help. the longer u have it ( i have had it for 4 yrs) the worse it starts to look, i guess it is just scarring.my problem is my arm.if u arent on prescribed meds, u could try taking something called turmeric, its found it health food stores and is an antiflamitory and it helps keep the excema from flaring up as often. i drink a mixture of apple cider vinegar honey and water. it is 2 tbl spoons of vinegar,8 oz of water, and a tsp of honey to make it taste better.the vinegar has a lot of vitamins and minerals that help with the condition, it tastes terrible but i have seen an improvement in my skin.i hope this helps u some because i know how hard it is deal with good luck.
