Try talking to your doctor about elecon cream, if you don't already use it. Another thing that helps me prevent outbreaks is to lather up with lotion after showering. Since my naturally dry skin seems to add to my eczema problem, keeping my skin moisturized is often a good preventative measure.

You should consider using Cortisone. I have eczema, and I am currently using Hydrocortisone; the ointment kind. The ointment kind relieves the itching and rids of any apparent eczema. The catch is that if you stop using it for a prolonged period of time, the eczema will start to come back, as with any topical solution for an outbreak.

The control and treatment of your eczema may involve both lifestyle changes & the use of medications whilst considering your current health condition as well as the type and severity of your eczema condition.

A good point of departure to treat your eczema, take extra special care of your skin by keeping it well hydrated and adequate moisturizing, which decreases itching and formation of eczema which can be done by applying skin moisturizing creams at least twice a day.

Eczema is your body's way of detoxifying itself because the primary detox organs are malfunctioning / clogged / overloaded with too much toxins.

To cure yourself from eczema,

1) you get rid of the toxins and clean up your colon, liver and kidneys with various detox methods like colon cleanse, kidney cleanse, liver flush.

2) you do not add any toxins from external sources, no deodorants, no chemical shampoos, no chemical toothpastes, no harmful detergents on your clothes, no chlorinated water baths, no make up, etc. If it is not edible, don't put it on your skin.

3) you stop eating toxin laden food. You need to go on a clean raw food diet. That's raw meat, raw vegetables, raw fruit. All organic.

Eczema is curable and routinely so and many many people have cured themselves.
