urgh! I have the same thing
firstly stay away from liquid foundation!!! it’ll make your skin flake like no tomorrow. try not to apply too much powder on your skin either.
Moisturise! i use palmer’s cocoa butter, and so far so good. It keeps my skin from flaking. Use everyday mineral or other mineral make up, dust a light layer on your face to cover your flaws. So far, only mineral make up work on my skin, without flaking.
for treatment and prevention, use aloe vera gel/cream or the actual plant’s use. this will help treat your dry skin, uneven skin tone or pigmentation. make sure you drink lots of water and eat lot of fruit and veg too
Uh.
Moisturizer?
Exfoliators?
You cannot cake makeup onto dry flaking skin. You need to help treat the flakes before applying makeup.
noxema. it was originally made for the treatment of eczema. works great
1] see a dermatologist for treatment
2] use only SENSITIVE skin over the counter products
3] take a good multivitamin with minerals [ trace elements help skin a lot ]
4] drink 1/2 gallon of water a day
Use an over the counter 1% hydrocortisone cream before bed on the dry areas each night (like Cortisone 10 or Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream). Works wonders…
I myself have a prescription from the dermatologist for a much stronger topical steroid cream (same as the ones above but much stronger) and it works very well….I get these dry patches on my face that last for MONTHS all year long on and off.
you should google Dinair Airbrush Makeup…its all water based so its not bad for ur skin…it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless…ive been using it for the past 2 years ans i love it…hope i helped…=)
Try using Dr. Hess Udder Ointment. We have seen great results. They will even send you a free sample.
I have had eczema since i was 2 months old. i never wore foundation/blusher/bronzer anything because in minutes my face would be all dry and flaky.. even eye shadow made my eyes sore..
i found out about mineral make up and ordered some samples from http://www.LilyLolo.co.uk
there were ok so i ordered some foundation, blusher, bronzer and eye shadow.. i’ve been using it for a few weeks now and if anything my face is smoother!! i recommend it!
