Okay well i use a perscription called triamcinolone and it works great but its a steroid medication i have had it for 15 years (because i was born with it) and simple steps can be taken to help stop the symptoms.
1. Use Purex Free and clear, theres no dyes or any scents.
2. Use Dove soap, its gentle and doesn’t dry out your skin and has very little scent to them.
3. Avoid dryer sheets when possible because of the scent they carry.
4. When eczema is broken out bad, have them stay free of bets because the fur can hold scents and things that irritate skin.
5. Don’t use scented lotion, the scent dries it out. if you must use lotion i suggest using eucerine in the lotion state or use the cream.
6. Avoid Bleach, bleach dries out the skin worse than anything else.
7. Try to stay away from heavy perfumes.
8. Try the wet pj treatment for bad breakouts. fill a tub of just warm water. soak your child but don’t wash his or her hair or use bubbles. take their pjs and put them in water and ring them out. put them in the dryer so they are warm. after 15 minutes get your child out of the tub and put on the eucerine or the product you like. put them to bed with blankets and the moisture stays on the skin.
9. don’t use vaseline it has too strong of a scent.
10. for bad breakouts on just the hands just dunk some gloves in water and put them on your child before bed with the medication.
11. cut their nails.
12. don’t let them get tomato sauce on them, the sauce will burn and will leave a dry patch the next day.
there are so many things you can do to help these and its really easy i’m only 15 but i’ve been to the emergency room many times because of bad breakouts many shots for it. e-mail me with any questions.

I have had eczema since I was born and I have found that nothing helps. Still to this day (20 years later) I just use tons of lotion and that helps the best for me.
The is no "cure" for eczema, you can only realive some of the itching and dryneess, by using stuff like Freederm HC cream. It also helps to take a nice bath with some oatmeal specialized for eczema. Good Luck!!
its better & safe to consult a dermatologists rather than trying diff products…
l had really bad eczema for years and nothing helped, untill l saw a good naturpath who gave me an accupunture, liver cleansing powder to drink and some herbal tablets. Then for the first time in years it had completely gone, it still flairs up but never as bad. You see the doctors treat the symptems (cream), but the naturpath treats the cause of the problem (liver).
There are new products on the market. see your dermatologist. I have includes one link. If you type eczema into a search engine, I use ww.dogpile.com you will find lots of useful info.
there’s no cure for eczema. i have it, and it’s a pain. it doesn’t ”go away”, but it gets better. stress can make it worse. however, medicines and creams can help. i used Ollux Foam (prescription) and it worked like magic. hope this helped
You can try Eucerin moisturizing creme, if that doesn’t work you should go to a dermatologist, they can give you med’s and if that doesn’t work they do have shots that will clear it up. It is a long process. Good luck
There is no cure for Eczema. There are treatments, but no cure.
try using eucerin. it helps.
You can also use Dr Wheatgrass Recovery Cream or Spray. It’s cream/spray derived from organically grown wheatgrass. Dr. Reynolds invented the product and has been successfully treating this patients since 1995 with these products. As far as allergic reactions go, this product is made from wheatgrass, the same thing that bread is made of. It’s also gluten free. I believe it’s approved for people of all ages (from infants to adults) because it’s a natural product. You can check out his website below for more information and testimonials. I hope this helps you in making an informed decision.
