even if there is no cure for eczema yet you can prevent it from flaring up by taking steps and knowing what should be avoided.

- avoid perfumed skin care and body care products
- avoid extreme hot and cold weather conditions
- avoid keeping fingernails long
- avoid scratching the affected area
- avoid long baths
- avoid processed foods and foods with preservatives
- avoid skin irritants and allergens like dusts and pollens
- avoid clothes and material that are rough, course, scratchy and tight
- avoid activities that can make you sweat
- avoid smoking and alcohol
- avoid too much exposure to extreme hot and cold weather

what will be helpful is the use of an all natural skin care treatment for eczema. try to be gentle with your skin. visit http://www.skinoriginal.com for more tips on how to rejuvenate skin.

Hello there. I suggest that you should try (if you haven't already) the herbal anti eczema cream/spray combo from Champori.com It is natural and works better for my eczema than anything else I tried.
It is available online from a company in Colorado and it comes with money back guarantee, too (so if it doesn't work - it's free)
Best,
Bernadette

Hi. Sorry to hear about your problem with eczema. It's frustrating. I have it on my hands, and this summer has been the worst for me. I've had open cuts and peeling skin. I read about other people's solutions and tried putting on Vaseline and wearing plastic gloves to sleep. Maybe you can try putting some Vaseline on your legs when you are wearing shorts to soften up the skin.

Often skincare products can contain unnecessary ingredients such as colors or fragrance.

But also look out for harsh preservatives, like parabens, which can trigger an eczema flare-up.

I found a really useful site that lets you compare the ingredients of several leading brands, its from a company called exederm

Exederm make ultra hypoallergenic skin care products for adults and kids with eczema or dermatitis
