Have it on my hands and been a sufferer since a little girl. Tried all sorts of creams and ointments but still have it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to see your Dr about this so this can be managed effectively.
Oilatum shower gel is good to use on a daily basis or whenever you shower, this will help keep your skin moisturised and prevent dryness. They key with Eczema, is keeping your skin moisturised. Use soap free products where possible.Other creams and emollients can be obtained from your GP; you might be given a mild steroid cream at first to bring the inflammation down (this should only be used when flare ups occur and should not be used long term) once this is under control you should feel better. In the meantime you can take antihistamines to reduce itching.
Don’t use biological powders when washing clothes. Surcare (although expensive) is nice also Fairy snow.
Just avoid all synthetic/Perfumed products. Also, when washing your clothes, put it through on an extra rinse cycle and try to avoid all fabric softeners.
my father in law heats up cod liver oil or olive oil (not sure which) & massages it in2 the effected areas with cotton wool. he has very bad soriosis
My 21 month old daughter has eczema.
I use diprobase cream when it is bad. She also has baths in Oilatum. The Oilatum is great as it has made her eczema manageable and it doesn’t flare up when she has been to her swimming lessons.
antihistimines
I was prescribed Hydrocortisone cream by my doctor. Its a topical cream that has steroids in it and it stops the itching and clears eczema up STRAIGHT away. I recommend it!
I used to suffer from bad eczema, i tried E45, steroid cream and emolionts…but baby oil gel put all over body after a shower made my eczema disappear in about 3 weeks. And it hasnt flared up since. That was 2 years ago and i am 16 now.
Hope it helps….tip to keep the skin hydrated and not dry…..
Slather your hands with cream /moisturiser and cover with cheap plastic (hair colourant) gloves for as long as you can. Sleep in them if you can.

Try using OPI cuticle oil and taking Zyrtec. It is amazing, I’ve never seen better results.
