Do you know what causes Eczema?

i’ve had every since I was 3 and I’m 16 but it’s starting to clear up I want to know what causes it

Scientists aren’t sure just what causes eczema, but they do know that flare ups can be caused by "triggers" such as stress allergies and environmental factors like irritants in the air, and our world around us. I never had eczema, until a couple of years ago, and I am much older than you, and the Dr. does not know what causes it, but I do find that when it is hot, I seem to break out more than when it is cool. My hands are clear now, but this summer, itch, and itch, until I put the cream on the dr. prescribed. You know, diet could have something to do with it, heat, and definitely, some plants cause me to break out. I had a biopsy done and sure enough, it was excema.
i’ve had eczema since i was a baby, and i really don’t know what causes it. you can get it in your genetics from your parents. but if it is really bad ask your dermatologist to prescribe a cream. after you put it on, put some non fragrance lotion on top. i used to think my exzema would never look normal, but if you remeber to mostorize like crazy it will eventually go away…even if it takes forever. mine isn’t even gone yet. well good luck =)
