Do you know of any home remedies for eczema?
I have horrible eczema on my arm. It is driving me insane. I take a daily antihistamine, and I moisturize constantly. I don’t use soaps or lotions that are scented. I’m doing all of the "right" things, but it isn’t going away.
I recently moved, and I discovered that no one in my area takes my medical insurance…thus no prescription steroid creams for me. The OTC steroid creams don’t work at all.
Does anyone have ANY suggestions?
Thanks so much!

It has got lots of home remedies here
Gold Bond – put it on until the skin can’t absorb anymore, wrap the area with cellophane and go to bed. In the morning, it should no longer be a bother. You may have to do this for a couple days in order for it to be fully effective.
My friend has a baby who has very bad eczema, and after doing some research, started rubbing flaxseed oil on his body. She said within 2 or 3 days, it cleared.
My son has minor eczema, and I bought a bottle of flaxseed oil for him. It works! Always clears it up. Apparently, some eczema is caused by a deficiency of omega-3 oils in the body. You can take the flaxseed oil internally, or rub it on the skin. Make sure you buy cold-pressed oil (it will need to be refrigerated to keep it fresh) at a reputable health-food store. This is the most potent kind. It’s less than $10 for a nice large bottle.
my son has excema and i use vaseline at night, aveeno products, and the doctor prescribed zrytec for the itching, benedryl works good too.
