okay so i was born with eczema but it went away then until now. i’m 14 and i was extremely itchy 3 weeks ago for about 2 weeks. then i realized i started getting dry red patches of skin, i showed my mother and she’s a nurse and got me various itching cream and stuff. now she’s got the ‘real’ thing i think? it’s called "emulsifying ointment BP" she said this is for eczema but my arm has got a rash where i put it on from yesterday? but today i put it on my whole body and i didn’t get a rash. it doesn’t make me itchy or anything i just got about 10 red spots where i put it before. if anyone knows what it is feel free to answer and tell me
i’m not allergic to anything in it.

is it dangerous for him to ingest paraffin? As he scratches his head often and then he takes his hands in his mouth.

My 3 month old son has started to develop mild dry/pink skin on his elbows… I’m starting to think it could be mild eczema. I just bought all natural washes and lotions for him and I know to keep him really moisturized, basically no chemicals. I have a dr. appt for him on Monday. Does this sound like eczema? He doesn’t seem to have allergies… he’s on regular formula and has NEVER spit up, which I’ve heard babies more prone to allergies spit up. Neither my husband or I have eczema or asthma, but my husbands father has both. Could my son have inherited it from Grandpa?

I think my 4 month old son has Eczema. He has one spot on his ankle that I think may be Eczema. He just had his 4 month check up, and had the spot while at the doctor, but the doctor didn’t say anything about it. I didn’t think to ask, because at that time I thought it was just a sore from his jammies rubbing on his ankle. The spot has been there for about a week now. It has changed some in appearance, but doesn’t seem to be getting any better.
I am just wanting some tips and advice, please.

I do, but i was wondering if anyone else does. (doesn’t seem to actually improve skin but does seem to help with pain and itching).
If you don’t find this helps what do you find soothing?

I have this inflamed spot on my leg(had it for a while) it is very itchy. It sometimes becomes white looking and feels dry. It looks like a rash and I sometimes scratch it in my sleep without being aware I’m scratching it. Could this be eczema?

I was prescribed septra for acne on my face; however, it cause me to develop eczema on my neck and arms. I know that the septra cause the breakouts (even though my doctor denys it) because no one in my family has eczema. I was, then, prescribed vanos cream for the eczema and I stopped taking the septra. Will the vanos cream cure the eczema breakouts? What medicine should I began taking for my acne because it’s coming back; Doryx?
