I have eczema on my shin and it’s embarrassing to wear shorts because it’s like a big oval of redness. How can I get rid of it? I tried Aveeno cream but it only takes away the itch.

My son has had it for about 2 months now, he is 6 months and I have been using baby eczema cream which does not help. I also used cortizone .1% and the next day his face was clear, and it stayed like that for a couple of days. I was told by some people not to use it very often, so I am not. What is safe and good?

I’ve had eczema scars all over my legs for about 4 months now and they aren’t looking any better. Can anyone tell me how long it’ll take for them to at least fade?

My 15 month old son has patches of eczema on his arms near his elbows and his upper thighs. I have been using Aveeno baby wash, Aveeno baby lotion and Aquaphor ointment. When the patches look really irritated, I put prescription hydrocortisone on it. They look like they clear up for a few days then it flairs up again. Is there any thing more I can be doing?

I have had eczema ever since i can remember, and it was horrible when I was a kid. However, since i moved to Florida I’ve hardly had a break out in 4 years. Now, i have this awesome tattoo designed and ready to go. I was just wondering if my eczema is going to cause any side-effects and possible infection when i get the tattoo?

ive had eczema on my upper thigh for my whole life.
it itches most of the time and ive went to the doctors 7 times and they keep supplying me ointments and creams which only work for a week to reduce iching but then it comes back again.
is there a popular eczema cream that works well for my type of eczema?

I have it and I hate it. My skin is extremely dry and flaky…I am allergic to anything that dries it like dust, dirt, chalk…etc. I’ve tried skin steroids prescribed my doctors but it doesn’t work. I’m considering whering gloves all day and all night…..I don’t know what to do….can someone please help me?
Does anyone know what works best to prevent skin eczema?

I’m 19 years old and have had eczema since I was roughly 15. It started just on my stomach cause of the belts I wore, and then on my arms, but that was nothing until this past year. I have it bad on my arms, stomach, half my back, upper thighs, chest, and neck. And I am also half hispanic, so I scar very easily. They aren’t raised scars or anything, but just dark marks. And they stay, for years. Lotions for dry skin don’t work, I know that. But even if I do control my eczema, the scars from it will last for a long time. Can anyone relate and possibly know any way to help me with my scars, or eczema? I’m running out of options! I feel like a leper here!
