Eczema Symptoms Archives

Eczema…………………..?

Today, my middle finger became very itchy and so i started to scratch. In a matter of seconds, little bumps began to form. They will not go away. There is no color, other symptoms along with the bumps are, my finger feels hot and I do feel a little bit of pain (nothing major). I’ve had this happen about 3-4 times in my entire life. I never understood what this was. Could this be eczema? I don’t know much about this condition, so any answers are appreciated. Thank you.
The last times, it was on my pinky though. Today it’s the middle finger. What is this?
What I got so far:
Eczema is related to allergies. If you get a reaction to a food, then that’s allergies…
There are different levels of Eczema…
I don’t ever get this on my face, however.
Thanks for answering.

itchy feet eczema?????

I began getting fungal infection symptoms on my feet, they cracked and itched. I went out and bought all the schol stuff and it didn’t work. When to the doctors and found out it’s eczema under my feet and on my ankles.

suffered through eczema as a child as did my sister but never under the feet.

My issue is whenever I show its itchy I’m not talking a little I’m saying I WILL go insane if i don’t itch it.

Is their anyway to stop this from happening? my showers and now only warm not hot and I don’t use anything in there that would make this happen I even wash my hair over the sink.

When itching of the breast is cancer?

I have no lumps, no change in the breast but it itches a lot around the areola. The itching comes and go, I could have no itching for one whole day and then it suddenly starts, it could be triggered by contact with the hand or by the bra or by nothing at all, the more I scratch the more it itches, but it passes quick, it does not itch for long time, I have no eczema, no redness, my GP want send me for biopsy, I started the menopause. When itching of the breast is caused by cancer how bad is the itching? is it there all the time? do my symptoms fit into cancer of the breast? thanks for answers.

Well, I am considering joining the military after high school. The thing is, though, when I was younger (7 years old or so) I had eczema. That has gone away, though, and I haven’t seen anything similar to it in the past 9 years. How would this affect my chances of getting in?

Also, I have asthma. While it used to be annoying when I was MUCH younger (last attack was age 8), It really doesn’t bother at all. The triggers I had before were Exercise and getting really sick. It only became a problem when i was sick to the point of having a SEVERE case of the flu. My problem is that a while after my 13th birthday (a few months) I caught bronchitis. While I had it, I repeatedly used my asthma inhaler because I found that it helped relieve some of the more annoying symptoms. I have not since ever needed to use any asthma medication.
As for the exercise induced component, before all it was was a VERY slight tightness in the chest and some wheezing (I had to exhale rather forcefully to hear too). However, I never used my inhaler for it and that was five years ago. Now, I can cruise for a good long distance without even experiencing a single wheeze, and I recover from a run faster than most other people. I’ve done repeated 20 mile runs for stamina training without symptoms. In addition, I’ve been incredibly active in addition to this, doing combative training and Parkour/Freerunning for extended periods, again symptom free. I’m in excellent physical shape, but my doctor still prescribes an emergency inhaler as a "just in case" measure. Last time I did have to take lung tests, my lung capacity came in as 9 liters roughly and my peak flow was at 822 (according to charts better than a person 15 years older than I am). That was a year ago. As I have kept my training up since when, I would assume both those stats have gotten larger.

So, I was wondering what my chances of getting in were. Will the use of an inhaler for bronchitis after age 13 (only a few months after though) hurt my chances for getting in? Any and all answers are appreciated, be they good or bad.
So, even if the inhaler use was prescribed for use in treatment of Bronchitis rather than asthma, if it was after 13th birthday (even by a few months) it is a automatic non waiverable DQ? No matter what shape I currently am in, or the current status of the asthma?

Is it also that way for having the emergency inhaler on standby, regardless of never using it? Actually I’m not sure what I could have done anything about that, because my doctor just prescribed it without checking my status or anything.

I have had irregular period in the past. I got on depo to regulate them. I have been off of it for a year. My period has been regular for the past 4 months. I got my period Oct 14 and Nov 15. Well, I was suppose to get my period this month but it never came. So I took a EPT test 4 days before the 15 and it was negative. I took 2 more after that a couple days ago and both of them had a DARK pink line but a reallyyyyyy light pink line beside it. The line was almost white. I have been feeling sick on my stomach almost everyday for a fews days now. I was bloated several days before my period and my stomach was so big I actually looked pregnant.I also have eczema and its getting worse. Also I feel like I have to go pee really bad out of no where. Feeling sick, the missed period are the big symptoms right now. Are these the first symptoms as soon as you get pregnant? Could I be pregnant?

Ok, this may be a bit along but I hope you can help!

I was depending on hydrocortisone and I realised it has thinned my face, causing it sensitive to the sun. So 3 weeks ago I decided to stop the cream, and after a week lo and below, an eczema attack appeared on my right cheek, it was flaky, peeling, inflamed, itchy, red, but worst of all VERY PAINFUL.

I know that if I give in to hydrocortisone again, the right cheek problem will definitely disappear BUT IT WILL SURELY RETURN AFTER 3-4 WEEKS. That’s how stupid steroid cream works.

So I totally went cold turkey for 10 days until recently someone advised me to try out using Aloe Vera, the real thing from plant. After five minutes using aloe vera and gently rubbing on the area, the itch and redness got reduced and the PAIN WENT OFF! I believe it has also reduced the inflammation. But the flaky, peeling thing is still there.

And at the same day my aunt’s friend heard about my case and gave me a bottle of enzymes that’s made out of natural ingredients, it’s actually a CURE for eczema. Yes, it is a cure, I’m not kidding. Because the friend has children who have eczema and she was pretty pissed off with those western medication, and dermatologist who kept prescribing steroid cream. So the friend went to the extreme by taking a trip down to another country to learn how to make enzymes from a homeotherapist. The friend has given many people the enzymes and those people all have eczema but after using one week of the enzymes, it cleared off their rash and never comes back.

So I applied it on Wednesday’s night and when I woke up yesterday morning, the flakiness and peeling have gone, but still left with 50% of the redness. My aunt told me to try both methods, using aloe vera in the morning till afternoon, and using the enzymes at night for one week and I’ll be healed.

But I’m intend of finishing the aloe vera, since I have a number at my house (don’t feel like wasting it), and it helps to reduce the redness, and I believe that throughout one week of using it the redness will definitely be gone. Then next week start using back the enzymes.

But the problem is, when I use back the aloe vera today, after the thing dried out on my face, the flakiness came back! I don’t feel pain or itchy but it’s just have the flaky and peeling thing. Do you think this is normal? Or do you think I should stop using the aloe vera and concentrate on using the enzymes only? My aunt told me that she trust her friend because her friend has cured many people who have eczema by giving them the enzymes.

Don’t come to me and tell me that there’s no cure for eczema please, I have never buy in that crap, and I don’t believe the phrase,

"If I have eczema, I have to learn to live with it"

WRONG, I always believe that I’ll be able to defeat the symptoms and cure it.

I have realised that doctors and dermatologist always say that is because they don’t know how to cure, they only know how to keep giving you crap steroid cream and making the symptoms worse (side effects of steroid) so that you will come back for more, it’s all aobut the MONEY.

I really don’t believe that the popular incurable diseases are incurable. Believing in incurables is unscientific, and believing in incurables is more like a fanatic religion. What is worse is believing in incurable diseases is a self fulfilling superstition.

I have an issue with Eczema, can you help me?

I have had a bad outbreak of Eczema on my back and shoulders for a few months now. It is gradually getting worse, and is in the form of a thousands of small pimple-like bumps. My doctor diagnosed it as Eczema, so i’m assuming he’s right, but everywhere i look on the internet, Eczema appears to look like rough, dry, flaky, cracked skin, and mine doesn’t seem to have those same symptoms. I’m trusting my doctors judgment though.

Can anyone offer me ideas to help get rid of the Eczema? Since it is confined to only my back and shoulders, can i conclude that the problem isn’t caused by laundry detergent? I am using free and clear Tide, which is supposed to be allergen free, or whatever you call it, but the eczema continues to get worse. I’m finding it hard to focus on a specific possible cause, when there are so possibilities of different allergic reactions…. Food, fabrics, detergents etc.

Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

eczema on the breast or something else?

Iv been dealing with for around 1 year with eczema that mainly affects my breasts.

I went to the doctors they first said it was Ringworm, a general infection, then Scabies… After they said it was Scabies it became apparent that indeed it was not that, the rash became more inflamed and aggressive…

The rash first started out as a small circular spot at the top of the breast, and has now reached the entire nipple causing the nipple to swell and become flat… I feel like my breasts have changed a lot, and the entire area around the nipple has became very inflamed and has weeped that i can’t even bear to wear a shirt anymore…

the breast feels very hot to touch and when i am sitting down i can feel the heat mainly around the nipple area… I have tried everything!

Been to the hospital they couldn’t figure it out so they said it was atopic Eczema and all they could do was give me Demovate and Moisturizes… The demovate has now stopped responding and the moisturizes are making it worse

I really need some help to figure this out, iv been to the hospital back and forth and they won’t do anything, my local doctors are more useless…

They have confirmed the symptoms I am getting and they are basically saying they dont know!

List of the problems that are happening

Breasts feel changed in size
Weeping
Sores
Itching
Burning sensation
Swelling
Sore to touch

Someone shed some light please

PS: I am only 18 years old, i have tried to see if i am allergic to anything, iv changed my bras and had them fitted to make sure the size was correct, checked the laundry powder etc… I am just at my bare end

Someone help!

eczema in the bikini and vag area?

ok, so I have eczema and naturally very dry sensitive skin, had flare-ups on my legs and arms which I can control with the cream. lately, I’ve been experiencing a lot of itching in the bikini and vaginal area (not inside, but on the top area). When I scratch it, it freaks me out because its like dry skin / dandruff stuff that falls off, like when I scratch an eczema spot. I’m scared to put the cream there because it says not to, the doctor told me not to and I have really sensitive skin. I went to the doctor, who was convinced that it was a yeast infection even though I have no discharge or symptoms similar to when I have a yeast infection. She said to take the meds and drink more water. I took the meds and have been drinking like rivers of water everyday and the itch is still there, my skin feels no better. Its not an STD or crabs, trust me, I had her run the full panel and check while I at the doctor. All she said was that the skin looks a little dry (to which I said that’s what I’m here about) I have tried changing soaps and using no soap down there, just water, which helped a little, but not much. has anyone else had this problem? Is there a safe way to moisturize that area without possibly getting an infection or making it worse? Its starting to drive me crazy and the doctor lady isn’t listening to me.

My mother has eczema (diagnosed by a dermatologist) and about two months ago I developed this little red rash in the bend of my elbow (inside, not out) and then another, but much smaller rash on the opposite elbow and an even less noticeable, but still as itchy, rash right above my ankle. I searched my symptoms and came up with psoriasis and eczema as possible causes, but I really can’t tell the difference – what do they mean "white/silvery scales"? What difference is that between being rough/dry skin-like? I have an appointment with her dermatologist, but my appointment is still two weeks away, and I would like to start a treatment he suggested for my mom, which is basically switching to cetaphil body wash, and using cetaphil body lotion, especially on the bad spots. BUT I don’t want to do that if it could actually cause it to get worse, if it is psoriasis.

So – how can I tell the difference between the two? Would using cetaphil hurt if it isn’t eczema? Should I just wait the two weeks (it is really itchy). Is it a bad idea to cover it up with make-up or a band-aid? What else could it be, other than one of these two? Thanks!
Oh yeah, he also gave her a skin cream, but that is by prescription, so I wouldn’t start that, just the stuff you can get OTC w/o a prescription.
