I’m 16 if that matters at all. So would taking the pill today lessen thenitching and redness of the eczema? Thanks

I have been suffering from eczema for over 20 years to my hands and feet. After paying out what must by now be 10’s of thousands of pounds to the drug industry, I would like to use a more hollisitc approach. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Recently, my eczema always comes out right after I shaved or pluck the hair on my underarm. It leaves some scars and causes the skin to become darker. It’s so frustrating because now i become so conscious about my underarm that i stop wearing sleeveless.
do you have any solutions for this problem? how to get rid of underarm hair without causing eczema and how to reduce the scars? please help. thank you.

It’s not exactly scarring, but since birth I’ve had eczema, it’s gotten much better over the years. But I have premature wrinkles caused by the eczema.. It was really bad when I was younger. I’m 17 and have had these wrinkles since about 13.. They are not attractive. They are around my eyes and nose, just the main places I got eczema including my legs. Is there anyway of treating this?…

I just noticed these little red bumps on my shins. I haven’t shaved or used lotion in a few days, so they shouldn’t be razor bumps or an allergy to my lotion. They’re not really itchy unless you pick at them. It’s only on my shins so I didn’t think it was eczema. The weather did get a little colder last night, could that be it? I didn’t change detergent or start using a new soap. Any ideas?

According to what I have found on wikipedia it seems to be a general name to anything that can cause inflammation on the epidermis of the skin.
So now my question is, medically speaking, what is eczema? Is it truly "anything" that causes inflammation on the epidermis?
If so that would mean things like poison ivy to dermal allergenic substances could be the cause of eczema? Basically anything that inflames the top of the skin. Right?

I have eczema and have noticed that when my arm or hands itch from eczema, pouring really hot water on it feels really good and stops the itching immediately! The downside is that it dries out your hands and can cause it to crack. Why does hot water stop the itching and make it feel good?

My daughter has eczema and we are questioning whether her eczema is acting up or if she has chicken pox.

For the last couple of months I’ve been getting little flare ups of eczema in the crooks of my elbows. I’m a 19 year old girl, I’ve never had it before and I can’t fathom why I am getting it now.
