From the age of 2 I use to suffer from server eczema, there were times were I had to get rushed to hospital and covered in bandages because it was that bad my doctors use to always give ne steroid cream which I had to apply everyday, I’ve now grown out of my eczema however the steroid cream has lead to discoloured skin but also dark patches on my skin. I was wondering if there is any chance that could be treated of the very least get lightened? Thanks

My baby’s eczema always flares in the same areas? What do you use on your baby’s skin?

I’m black and my skin color is medium-dark brown. I had a recent outbreak with eczema underneath my armpits and now my arm pits are at least two-three shades darker than before. I just began treatment with a highly effective hydro-cortisone cream. I used it once before when I had an outbreak but it wasn’t nearly as bad as this one.

my son is almost 6 months old, and has horrible baby eczema all over his body. Both his father and myself had it also when we were little. I have tried every lotion on the shelf, even organic all natural lotion from my local health store. i have been using the dove sensitive and unscented soap that his dr recommended and still no difference.he wears light all cotton clothing but the only thing that will provide some relief is the hydrocortizone cream we got from the pharmacy but i hate using that on him. it will help his skin clear up for about a day, and then it goes right back . i feel so bad he constantly is uncomfortable and itching all the time. does anyone have any other suggestions!?!?

My upper lip has been extremely red for about two weeks. It also has cracked skin and cuts. Ive been putting vaseline and ointment, but the cracks wont close. It hurts to even smile. Im havent put desonide on it because im afriad ill make it worse since that thins out the skin. What should i put to calm down the redness and help heal the cut skin?

I have chronic eczema. Dermatopic lotions do very little. My eczema often excoriates and is just gross. I feel ugly all the time, and I hate going to the beach. I haven’t worn a tank top out of my house for years. I’ve tried every cream there is. Help?

Hi
I am 18 years old and have had Eczema since I was roughly 10.
8 years down the line and it still hasn’t gone, and my face is now very dry as well.
Are there any tips that I can use to get rid of dry skin?
So far I have used:
The creams the GP prescribes me
Aveeno
Cocoa Butter
Bio Oil
I also drink 1 litre of water a day
Thanks

Ive had eczema for about 5 years now,(Im about 13) and I have it on the inside of my elbows. I was wondering if it was normal for the area that I have the eczema to be lighter than my normal skin color. I have tan skin and my elbows are noticeably much paler…someone please help!

Hello Everyone,
I’m highly confused on what might be going on with my little girls face, Her doctor believes she has baby acne because its like little pimples surrounded by red skin, I also bought the Aveeno baby eczema lotion because her chin seems to be drying out and i needed something to keep her skin moisturized. I’d like to thank anyone who answers this question because I am a first time mommy and I have no idea what to expect.. She doesn’t seem itchy or anything I went out of town due to work related issues for 4 days I came home and she had a couple bumps on her face. I immediately took her to her doctors and she said it was baby acne which is normal. I asked her father what he had did different while I was gone and he told me the only thing that had changed was he was washing her clothes and his clothes together not using her detergent because he had a ran out and couldnt get to the store and he only washed a few loads in our detergent (gain) could it have been a reaction of some sort that has caused her only to break out on her face and no where else? We also recently ( a few days before I left) changed her body soap to the johnson and johnson apple soap instead of the night time soap. I just need personal opinions and personal experience.. On Monday she has her 9 month appointment for her vaccines and I’m not sure if I should postpone it or not. This is my little girl

I took this picture today and I also FWD it to her doctor and her doctor still believes its baby acne but still wants me to keep her skin moisturized..
Thank you so much
on her chin it looks exactly like pimples and when it started out it looked exactly like baby pimples but i was told they would go away, I wasn’t going to postpone her appointment but I was thinking of postponing her vaccines until they find out whats going on.. I’m a serious nervous wreck over this although she doesn’t seem uncomfortable in any way and it has not spread at all. her skin isnt just red its bumpy like it feels like little baby pimples.. How long does baby eczema last ? Is it a on going battle for the rest of her life. & yes she is on Enfamil Gentl.
i posted more pics im not sure if they are any better but take a look
