I have an 18 month old that has severe eczema. Seems like nothing that we have tried other than steriod creams seems to work. Anyone one have any suggestions?

Well there really is no "cure" for eczema, you just kind of grow out of it.
If it’s that severe I would think that it’s psoriasis! I recommend this site, http://www.psoriasis.org/treatment/psoriasis/
If it’s eczema, talk to your dermatologist, eczema takes a long long time to get rid of, even with a prescription.
Crisco vegetable shortning. Rub on like a cream or lotion. It works!
Virgin olive oil.
Renew lotion works incredibly well on eczema our son had it for a couple of months but when we tried it the eczema was gone in 4 days.
Cetaphil lotion works great for me. It is unscented and very hydrating, plus you can get it at wal-mart
olive oil, very good for the skin
I suggest all natural Optiflora. Many times when something inside our bodies is going on it will manifest itself to the outside in some form such as eczema.
Must treat the cause and not just the symptoms.
This two-product system uses new technology to protect beneficial microflora during the rigors of shipping, storage, and the acidic journey through your stomach. Other products claim live microflora at the time of manufacture. Optiflora guarantees the delivery of live microflora (500 million) to your intestines. This is a patented process.
This two-product system includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus…microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS…food source for microflora).
Safe for all ages – infants to adults.
Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions.
Adelle Davis discusses this problem in her books Let’s Get Well, and Let’s Have Healthy Children. She helped many people with her excellent advice. It is too complex to deal with in the space allowed here.
