I was told this by someone biased, and was wondering if it was actually true.

Hello,
Climatotherapy is the use of sunlight and water (such as the ocean) as therapy. The Dead Sea in Israel is known for its healing properties, and many people with eczema go there to sit in the sun and swim in the water. Studies suggest that this is a successful treatment for eczema. One study looked at the experience of more than 1,500 people with eczema and found that 95% of skin was cleared in people who had previous stays at the Dead Sea and stays longer than 4 weeks.
Natural and holistic treatments are a safer, gentler alternative to use without the harmful side effects or allergic reactions.
Best of all, you can use them as often as you like, for as long as you like. Herbal ingredients such as Vitamin E oil, Mentha pipererita oil, Bulbinella frutescens tr. and Aloe ferox tr. work quickly to soothe and promote healthy, trouble free skin. Other highly effective herbs include Glycorrhiza glabra, Melia azadirachta, Sambucus nigra and Stellaria media which help to provide relief from itching and discomfort and reduce eczema patches. In addition, Matricaria chamomilla, Asparathus linearis and Galium aparine also prevents infection and inflammation as well as reduces scarring.

Hope it helps.
The high concentration of minerals and salts of the dead sea do help eczema by simply drying off the affected top layer of the skin by its natural astringent properties and promoting the growth of new healthy skin. Its not a cure but certainly a treatment.

They don’t cure it, but they can help. The mineral content is so high that it helps your skin hold moisture longer. Your skin will feel and look better while you are using it, but if you stop all the symptoms come back. I have mild eczema and would definitely recommend it just don’t expect to be cured.
idk??? know the scrub removes dead skin i have it…i love seacret but i really dont know
If that was the case really then these mineral salts and products would be flying off the shelves literally faster than they can be provided in terms of demand as eczema is a fairly common condition in this modern world.
Plus I would be wary about buying dead sea minerals for the followng two reasons:
1. It is not sustainable for the dead sea and the dead sea may vanish because of unsustainable mineral extraction. Read more and do some research please:

2. Politically you might want to think twice about purchasing these!!!!
Try topicall remedies such as licorice cream or chamomile cream, dietary adjustment finiding foods that trigger or aggravate eczema, and herbal supplements. Fish oil [as a source of omega 3], evening primrose oil [as a source of GLA], vitamin E, turmeric, gotu kola and sarsaparilla may all help.
You may also have to consider the soaps and washing powders you are using and use some skin friendly alternatives. Sulphur soap may help. There is Harrogate soap bars and liquid soap in the UK. In the US there are more labels to choose from. You could try some alternative washing powders…such as:

….or eco balls or make your own.
The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I’ve turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use herbal remedies from serenaskin.com, which aim at the root of the disease – the immune system, and are steroid-free.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with anti-eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.
