My 2 month old daughter has eczema only on her face and my daughter in law says its because of my dogs. Can this be possible?

♦ Eczema is not an allergic reaction to a substance, but it can be triggered by allergens in your baby’s diet — or in your diet if you’re breastfeeding. The rash can also be aggravated by heat, irritants that come in contact with your baby’s skin (like wool or the chemicals in some soaps, lotions, and detergents), changes in temperature, and dry skin. The dog ‘could be’ an irritant to the baby. Is there wa way you can limit her contact with the dog for a little while and see if it clears up? There are a number of things that could cause this, its just a process of elimination
it could be,she may even be allergic to them.best to talk to a doctor just in case she is.you cant take risks with the little one’s.
yes it could be…dogs carry alot of dander and there is a reason people get rid of there pets when they have children
i have eczema and am allergic to cats and dogs…basically anything furry
but i get irritated from many factors: animals, the weather, allergies, sweat and more
you could try giving your dog to a family friend (or your daughter in law ) for a few weeks and see if your daughters eczema fades or betters
remember to put ointment on your daughters skin and keep her hydrated and moisturized
My son Justin has eczema on the cheeks and the back of his knees Babes are allergic to animal hair when they have eczema many different things can trigger your daughter to break out with more eczema. even some foods.
