One thing that I found worked for my eczema when I ran out of my usual lotion was oatmeal. It really helped with the itch. I ground some up in a blender, put it in a clean nylon and used it to wash the affected area. You could also put it in bathwater and have a short soak.
That’s a tough one. I’ve had eczema for years and it just doesn’t go away. It comes and goes. I’ve learned my outbreaks come with stress mostly.
When I first notice an outbreak coming on I immediatly apply hydrocortisone cream on effected area.
Drink more water to hydrate the skin.
Avoid stressful situations
Do not pick or scrape at the area.
