Anyone have any suggestions on a GOOD Eczema cream?

My 17 month old has eczema and it seems that I can’t really find a good moisturizing cream for her. She has a humidifier in her room and the doc gave me 1% Hydrocortisone cream to use when she gets really itchy. Any suggestions on a good cream? Thanks in advance!

Well, the hydrocortisone will help with the redness and itching, but it may dry her out even more! What about aquaphor, corn huskers lotion, lubriderm, cetaphil. Aquaphor is probably the messiest, but may be good to put on her at night.

My daughter has had eczema since she was a tiny little baby (she is five now!) and we have found the only stuff that works is Elocon. We get the generic version and it is only like $15 at Wal-Mart. I am an eczema sufferer and have been enjoying the relief from goats soap, it gives my skin moisture (hydration of the skin is a big problem)
I am not going to be able to help much because I am on the other side of the world and we all have different treatments, one rule of thumb is, if you see an ingredient that you can pronounce do not buy it, there is a lot testing involved sadly and not everything works.
I hope your little one is relieved of her itch and I hope the pain eases.
Need to take it easy with the hydrocortisone – normally only for over two.
