Any ideas on how to get rid of hand eczema caused by bleach water at work?

I had a cream but it cost WITH insurance, and it was already generic. Any help!?

thorough cleaning of the hands in warm water and using a medicated lotion after, are the main treatments. i had the same problem in restaurant work until i tried "corn husker’s lotion", cheap and easy to find at the drug store. the only other remedy i found effective is " bag balm " found at farm supply stores. it’s strange, that a product made for protecting a cows udders, after they’re scratched or injured, from bacteria and infection, can be so effective in helping the hands heal and protect them. also: if your employer is using "purex bleach", tell him it causes reactions like yours and many people are allergic to it. use "clorox standard bleach" in the proper amounts for the amount of water used. it will do the job of sanitizing, without causing problems. heavier concentrations are no more effective, and wasteful. always rinse out dirty towels before putting them in bleach water. food and bleach don’t mix. food particles in a bleach bucket ruin the effectivrness of the bleach, and leave the towels scumy, smelly, and prone to leaving a dirty film on surfaces to be cleaned. and wiped down. ps a little "zinc oxide" ointment or salve at night can speed up healing. all of these remedies are cheap and effective.
Try buying the over the counter Cortizone 10 it works almost as good as the prescription kind. Are you sure it’s the bleach water causing it. I was told by a dermatologist the bleach water usually stops the growth of the eczema. Are you sure it’s couldn’t be caused by a food allergy, with me, it’s usually anything that has a tomato base. Moisturize often (Vaseline is a good choice). Also, try the herbal anti-eczema ointment from Champori.com (it works very well for me)

Using steroid cream is not a good idea.

Try to avoid irritants. A mild hydrocortisone cream will ease the itch and deal with the redness, then use a good moisturizer.
Worth checking Natiional Eczema Association’s site, they list which ingredients to avoid and rate different products.
