How do you get rid of eczema?

my 6 month old son has BAD eczema…he never had it before. Is there anything that will help this?

Atm the areas affected are bleeding and raw from all the itching, Elidel has stopped working for me as did hydrocortisonencream. I know that the pills cause drowsoness but it is night time anyways. I’m 16 if that matters at all. So would taking the pill today lessen thenitching and redness of the eczema? Thanks

Help! Need advice about baby eczema.?

I am about to tear out my hair with frustration. My 7mth old, who is exclusively breastfed, has had cradle cap since he was a month old and since last month he has been suffering with eczema/dermatitis on his face around his eyes and on cheeks. It is red, itchy and flaky and I have seen 2 paedietricians and 1 dermatologist and they all have different theories! The only one that made sense to me was the 1st paed who suggested I eliminate all dairy from my diet… which I did, along with beef, veal, tomatoes, citrus fruits and nuts. I have been off these foods completely (bar one or two meals where I had some pasta sauce) for about a month now and there is no improvement apart from the days that I was told to use a cortisone cream but once I stopped using the cream after the suggested week, the flare-up was worse. I feel so bad for my little fella and don’t know what to do… anyone have any experience with this or have some other tips? I have tried putting on aloe vera gel, honey and papaw ointment but nothing has had a huge effect. Also we have no eczema in our family, so don’t where it is coming from. Please help.
Thanks for taking the time those of you who answered… much appreciated.

Somebody just said my skin tone looked uneven I guess. I have eczema. So is it tha visible or not?

Whats a good natural cure for eczema?

I have suffered from eczema all my life but now it is really starting to get in the way of me enjoying myself, I can’t use fake tan, I can’t walk in the rain, I can’t even wear belts! help me someone

what is the best cream to treat eczema?

My husband has eczema on his genital area , sometimes it gets really bad and now a couple of months later im experiencing itching and it gets really worse when im having a period….and i had a bladder infection but its not std coz i went for tests . please help im really worrid

My mother has eczema (diagnosed by a dermatologist) and about two months ago I developed this little red rash in the bend of my elbow (inside, not out) and then another, but much smaller rash on the opposite elbow and an even less noticeable, but still as itchy, rash right above my ankle. I searched my symptoms and came up with psoriasis and eczema as possible causes, but I really can’t tell the difference – what do they mean "white/silvery scales"? What difference is that between being rough/dry skin-like? I have an appointment with her dermatologist, but my appointment is still two weeks away, and I would like to start a treatment he suggested for my mom, which is basically switching to cetaphil body wash, and using cetaphil body lotion, especially on the bad spots. BUT I don’t want to do that if it could actually cause it to get worse, if it is psoriasis.

So – how can I tell the difference between the two? Would using cetaphil hurt if it isn’t eczema? Should I just wait the two weeks (it is really itchy). Is it a bad idea to cover it up with make-up or a band-aid? What else could it be, other than one of these two? Thanks!
Oh yeah, he also gave her a skin cream, but that is by prescription, so I wouldn’t start that, just the stuff you can get OTC w/o a prescription.
