Ok, I seriously need some help with finding some lotion for my eczema. I used to use eucerin all the time to keep my skin from breaking out so much, but now i’m allergic to it. And my skin is getting worse. All blotchy and everything. :[ Can some please give an suggestion? Thank you! :] xXxXx

Im 14 and have pretty bad eczema on my face, and it prevents me going out and doing things..like school, I’ve missed SO many days because of it and now Im super close to failing my school.
I went to the doctor and he told me that I should try aveeno but it made it worse, so i went back and he said he is going to give me steroid cream and told me the side effects.
I would just like to know more about what will happen
will it discolor my skin where the eczema is? its mostly on my upper lip and cheek which looks quite gross, so if I put the cream there will it make it a weird color?
and whats so bad about thin skin
more info would be awesome

I sometimes use Icepacks to calm my eczema. It numbs my skin, letting me forget about the intching. So I was thinking, could novocaine be used to treat eczema?

I’m a Cosmetologist with a client who has eczema. She want to relax her hair but I don’t know where to find a relaxer for such an extensive condition.

My two year old has eczema that covers his body and the thing that bothers him most is the itching. He has emollients which I apply as often as I can and also steroid creams which I try to use sparingly in case of side effects. He has wet wraps and uses an antihistamine medicine most nights as the itching can seriously disturb his sleep but I don’t like using this every night.I have tried calamine lotion to try to soothe his skin but this seems to have a drying effect on his skin.Nothing I’ve tried seems to be very effective and I wonder if anyone knows of any cooling, natural, home remedies or any other suggestions of things I can try to help relieve his skin?I will try almost anything in addition to what he already has as he often breaks his skin and it’s pretty much a daily issue. Thanks!

I am 29. I have struggled with acne since I was 16. I should have gotten rid of it at 18, however, it’s still here. I use facial cleanser, but most products are so abrasive, that I get eczema blotches on my face. It bugs me so much that I even pick my face. The break-outs mainly take place on my right cheek. I also have combination skin(normal-oily-dry). Could that play a factor in my problem.

I have really sensitive skin and frequently break out with these dry itchy patches of skin from my neck and down. I absolutely hate it and it happens once every other month. I’ve been using an unscented lotion but it doesn’t really help. My doctor has put me on creams in the past but I want to try to alleviate these symptoms before I resort to asking him for the cream again (it worked but as soon as I ran out of cream, the eczema came back).
Aside from applying lotion right after a shower, what else can I do to avoid getting eczema? I am already very careful with what I eat and what I use on my body. It seems the eczema is just being triggered at random. My doctor said the trigger might just be due to the hard water where I live or the weather because I’ve eliminated pretty much every other possible cause. So any help would be appreciated to alleviate the symptoms of eczema.
