my19mo. old girl has eczema on her cheeks and arms, doctors wont give anithing, im currently using aquaphor ointment and triple paste for eczema, any other suggestions please. summer is comming and it seems to get worst w/ heat and she looves the beach. help moms.

Do any drug store creams work well, or do I need an Rx?

I hardly have it anymore, but I’ve had a slight case in the past. It wasn’t very serious and I dont need any treatment for it. Will it still be an Auto DQ for me? If I didnt say anything about it, they wouldnt even know I had it. There are no visual indiciation of eczema on me anymore.

My girlfriend had a controlled Eczema which instead of the swelling and all that, its just very dry skin in her hands only. I want to know if any of you have any home remedies or anything you think will help. I have been trying to research this myself but some stuff that I have seen have the worst side effects and is really for the active state of eczema with all the outbreaks of it. I found something called tamanu oil. Do you think that will help? Id like to hear from someone that has had this condition mostly but all answers will be gladly accepted .

Eczema causing white splotches on my skin?
I have eczma on my arms- haven’t had the chance to get to a doc. yet but I will. So for now, I have a question of why the hell my arms which are decently tan as I am half asian have been frequently developing white splotches after itching them from the eczema. I see pictures online of eczema on peoples arms but no white spots? and I do use cream sometimes on them but I do not believe it has caused the white spots as I only use it sometimes and not on every spot that has developed into a paler skin tone. I’m verrrrrry frustrated and quite embarressed by arms now. sooo I was just curious as to if anyone else has experienced this?

if i were to use bio-oil will it make the white spots even lighter or will it help to darken them?

I’m pretty sure my baby girl who is 7.5 months old has eczema, the doctor checked it out when she was 6 months (which wasn’t all that bad back then) and said it looks like she’s got a mild case of it that looks like will go away.

Well turns out its not going away its getting bigger (or at least seems like it is). She’s got some dry red bumpy kinda rash on her thighs, upper arms and on her back (her back doesnt look as dry, but its little red bumps), some of it even has a yellow-ish/orange-ish color when its really dry.

Doesn’t seem like its bugging her, but I would just like to know if this sounds like eczema and if so what can I do to help it?

I am 21, and when i tell people about my eczema they always say things like- i thought people grew out of eczema when they are babies- well i didnt. I get it really badly when i get salt water on my skin- eg go to the beach OR sweat, i also get it when i am just doing random things like washing dishes with soapy water…. Im wondering if there is a way to get rid of my eczema?
