My son is three. He suffers so bad from Eczema, his face is open sores. The topical steroid cream does not work for him anymore. Please help. The doctors keep telling me to use the steroid cream, and are not concerned at all. I need some advice.

when someone has eczema, is it always due to an allergic reaction of some sort? examples: detergents, foods that sort of thing.

I just googled it, but I can’t tell fact from fantasy. All my usual tricks are not working, but I don’t want to see the doctor to get a steroid cream that will give us an allergic rash. I’m looking food based or herbal remedies that have worked for you in the past, please.
