My little sister is 10 years old and has atopic eczema. It is starting to affect her emotionally and now is the stage where she would like to start experiencing wearing make up like lip stick etc. We have tried so many things including changing her diet… the worst thing is the dark circles around her eyes and the sores on her hands. Is there anything that can help??? please tell me your stories or offer advice
Hi thanks for all the replies so far! Well i looked up Elidel and it seems like it have caused cancerous tumours on animals so my mum didnt want to go down that path. Unfortunately that sounded like a very promising cream too

I put on eczema cream and then I put on my jumper. It really really hurts and I will have to bandage it up tomorrow. My eczema has flared up horribly lately. Is it ok to use baby wipes? Or do I need to use a flannel and cold water?

This past summer i got a rash that was light red and when i scratched it, it would continue to sorta puff up. I wasn’t born with this but as time went i had to keep using coritzon cream. Now it clears up from time to time and comes back lightly.. and where i had it before my skin is lighter than before…how do i control it or how could i even out my skin tone. I have eczema around my body, which has been getting better, coming back, getting better, and back and forth.
Just last week, I noticed my lips were really dry and peeling, and I have researched lip eczema and find that I have the same symptoms.

I don’t want it to spread to the rest of my face. I will be going to the dermatologist soon and I am managing to moisturize my lips at the moment, but the question is what precautions do I take so that the eczema will not spread further on my face?
I have Eucerin cream & I have Clinique Face lotion which both are good moisterizers, so would either of the two, used to moisturize my face, help prevent it from spreading?
What should I do? I am really afraid it will spread on my face.
