As I child I suffered with eczema until I was 12 years old. I don’t mean to sound cold about this next part, but it is fact. My dad died when I was 12, and that is when it went away. (He was not the easiest person in the world to live with).
I am now in my 30’s, in a stressful relationship, and the eczema has returned. Soaps and perfumes irritate it further.
I am just wondering if there is any kind of a link between eczema and stress.

I have really bad eczema and I go through phases where its good and bad. Usually when its really bad I go to the Doctors and he gives me cream which usually gets rid of the eczema within a few days, however as this cream thins the skins my doctor doesn’t always want to give it to me.
At the moment my skin is really bad, does anyone have any good tips that will help? (Apart from another trip to see my Doctor
)
Thanks

When I was younger, I would have really bad eczema breakouts, and today I have scars on my stomach from it. I really really want to get rid of them, what do you think I should do?

Can you please tell me where I can find Aveeno Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream & Body Wash? Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy are running out. And please don’t say ebay because I already know about it.
Thank you in advance

My 14 year old son started suffering from eczema at around the age of 9. When he was 12, we finally went to a dermatologist who could prescribe us with some creams/ointments that helped reduce the severity of the eczema, especially on the face.
The dermatologist gave us elidel cream and advantanointment, both for the face. He advised us to regularly use moisturizer and apply an ointment called diprosone OV on the body.
The body since then has gotten much better, but the face has started to flare up again. We asked ther dermatologist again, and he started treating my son with the UVB light treatment around 10 weeks ago.
Now my son’s face has started to grow blotchy, red and very flaky. He has already lost half an eyebrow, and his cheeks have been burned by the UVB treatment. Now we do not know if the UVB treatment is a good idea anymore, but the dermatologist seems to think it is.
Should we continue? and is there anything extra we can do to reduce severity?
