I know petroleum jellies and minerial oils are more harmful than good. Any suggestions?

I’m fifteen and i’ve has eczema all my life but now i’d really like to wear shorts or skirts or something but i’ve got loads of eczema scars down my legs and it looks awful! I’m probably to young to do anything like laser surgery is there anything that will just blend them into my skin to make them at least less obvious?

now im not sure if there is an actual cure but i am just tired of:
all the itching
oozing
sleepless nights thanks to the itching
bleeding
rashes
scars
scrapes
and disgusted looks and comments about my skin

im not sure if everyone gets this but about every few hours i get this pinching or tickling feeling all over like someone is pinching or tickling me at random. well more like i feel a small bug crawl on me and i have to hit that place to make it stop.

Ok so my real question is…does anyone have any help…creams, advice, steroid cream

i have an extreme case (my doctor and dermatologist said so)

ps i know i should stay away from stress and allergins and take cool showers and apply vaseline type "lotions" and also to stay away from perfumes and other fragrants

I think I have eczema on my penis. It looks like a burn mark with flaky skin around it. It is located underneath my shaft. Im also starting to get hardened skin around the rim of my penis head. Do I have to worry about an std?

My children have eczema untill they are about two..I’m tired of Euceren….and that cream is the only cream that keeps my son from having a flare up. Do you guys know any other remedies?
His eczema is pretty much under control, no itching, redness or anything, but you can feel it when you touch his legs. And I have to put Eucerin atleast 4 times a day to keep it that way.
Real: he sees his doctor, and it is eczema…I got pretty dry skin myself.

ok so this product is a little odd but im curious to see if anyone has heard of it or used it themselves. my son is 8 months old and has had SEVER eczema for 6 months now. the only thing that we have used that works is Hydrocortizone and i dont want to always use this as it has steroids in it. i recently heard of a product called Repcillin. yes, its weird because its made from crocodiles but i really want to know if it works.

weve been to our doctor and everything they give us just doesnt work. we’ve used/tried: aquaphor, eucerin, aveeno, adding baking soda to his bath, bathing every other day, putting on lotion up to 5 times a day, making sure all his clothing is cotton, making sure he isnt out in extreme weather, watching his diet for flare ups, switching to a hypo-allergenic formula..so you see, we’ve tried it all.

my poor baby is miserable. this rash is EVERYWHERE. he had problems sleeping because its so bad. so i was looking for something new to try and ran across the Repcellin. has anyone used it before?? or known someone who has??

I have three small patches of eczema on my face. They’re minor, and not too bad, but I still really need to get them off because they’re ruining my complexion. I have really great skin as far as I know, but ever since the winter, I’ve gotten in. It doesn’t hurt or anything, but it’s really really ugly.

P.S. I know I sound really vain, I don’t really have a problem with that, I just don’t like changes in my face. :s

We are trying to avoid cortisone although have used it in the past without much success. He is very uncomfortable and his face is extremely dry and rough.

I have had eczema my whole life. I am 28 yrs old and look way older from the damage it has done to my face. I wonder if anyone has a solution to stop the flaking and peeling under my nose. I have tried everything under the sun. My dermatologist has me on steroid creams but it does not help. It stays so dry that it has caused my skin to wrinkle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
