I never had a skin disorder till i was 33yrs.old.I thought i had athlete’s foot.i went to a doctor which gave me skin medication. It would keep coming back. Then after 17yrs of having it.It moved to the top of my feet.I decided to let it go so a dermatoligist could get a good sample. When i saw him he got a good sample. He told me i had eczema. He perscribed more cream.Which again didn’t work.I said to myself what is astrong ingredient?Bleach,ya i know what your thinking. It got to the point where i could have outbreaks on my legs, nose, chin.I had to do something.I learned what work’s best is a shower spray with bleach.I spray some on my hand and rub it in to the infected area. The symptoms always disappear.Of course if it’s in your eye or if there’s a skin eruption you can’t do that.I’ve been doing it for years. It won’t cure your eczema, but it makes it much easier to live with.Any other exzema sufferers have home made remedys they like to share?Only people with exzema need to answer.

She has eczema, which was obviously inherited from my husband, who inherited from his father. Her face flakes a lot, and baby wash isn’t helping. Cetaphil was ineffective. I was wondering if she was too young to use facial wash and cleanser. She doesn’t have any acne, just a few blemishes. But I don’t really care about the pimples, acne, blemishes, etc. I’m talking about any facial products to not irritate her skin condition.

my sister has a small patch of eczema on the top of her foot which can become quite painful. she recently had some cream prescribed by her doctor which is quite oily, and seems to be clearing it up slowly but surely. however, over the past 2 weeks or so, she’s noticed very short dark hairs are appearing where the patch of eczema is starting to fade. they are very short, almost like stubble. is eczema known to cause hair growth?

My son has had eczema on his body and face since he was 3 months old and have been to numerous trips to the Doctor for numerous creams and bath oils to ease the flare-ups and weeping. Some of the eczema will go away completely for a couple of weeks only to appear somewhere else like his elbows or legs or scalp. It is only now that my Doctor has refered us to see a skin specialist after all this time! I know there is not much i can do but wait until he grows out of it but I would like to hear similar stories if your baby had bad eczema and what you did to ease it? Does it really go away when they reach 2 or 3 years old? did you find out what triggered the eczema in the first place?
I bathe him once a week as he always flares up after a bath.

hi there, can anyone recommend a sun cream for an 18month old with eczema? The variety in boots is just so vast, many claim they are dermatalogical or hypoallergenic, or mild especially for babies, but last year we used one recommended for babies and she came out in a terrible rash (so quickly and so fast I thought it was meningitis and took her to A&E, they said she had a reaction to sun cream or possibly had a viral skin rash, so if any parents can personally recommend a brand (avaliable in uk) that they have had personal sucess using with their child with sensitive skin/eczema, I would appreciate your comments, and I will buy the brand that has the most possitive feedback! thanks.

My son has eczema. I am very concerned for him especially with these recent outbreaks of staph infections. What can I use on his eczema to help keep it clean? What other things can I do? I use only natural products, so I prefer homeopathic or naturopathic ways to help him.

Have there been any advances in medicine?
I’ve suffered from this for as long as I can remember, and it’s becoming a big issue. Creams, pills, and lotions seem to have no affect on me!
