I’ve been to the dermatologist and used many different creams and prescriptions but none of it works. I have chronic eczema on the backs of my legs and all over my hands. It’s painful at times, especially having it on my hands, but mostly it’s embarrassing to have people see it and always ask, "What is that!?" I’ve heard that hydrogen peroxide dries it up but I haven’t tried it. Do you have any home remedies or such that could help?

I’ve had Contact Dermatitis (a type of eczema) since October 2006. I was sleeping in a hotel and the next morning I woke up with the rash all over my hands and legs! It’s been like torture ever since
The beginning was the worst.. and has pretty much disappeared except for the scar/marks on my legs. Last night some showed up on the back of my neck too. I used some medicated lotion that my doctor gave me, but now when I itch my skin, it scratches off!

I read somewhere online that soy products could cause eczema. That makes sense because I started drinking soymilk instead of regular milk around the same time the rash appeared. Is soy a common cause of eczema?

I have eczema and there are only ways of helping the symptoms, never actual cures. Don’t recommend a million and one different creams- I’ve had eczema all my life and tried over 20 different treatments. I just wondered who is trying to find a cure and why it’s so hard!

I’m using protopic 0.1% ointment for about an year, i’m not sure if i should change back to betnovate Rd cream 0.025% w/w , my skin is really bad at the moment, my arms and legs are crusty and itchy and it is very stingy as well as my backside and my neck area and my face is dry .. what do you reccomend?..
