I have chronic eczema, and I have found nothing that really helps it, at least not long term. It is an extremely dry, extremely itchy red rash, and no matter what my doctor’s try, nothing seems to last. I use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly as a moisturizer. I use prescription strength Lidex cream. I use Prednisone when it gets too bad, and I haven’t found anything to use which is helpful for the itch. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I have eczema spots all over that seem to get worse in the winter. I’ve tried the perscription creams/lotions but never entirely get rid of it. Anyone know of anything natural that might help?

WE RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT MY 7 MONTH OLD SON HAS ECZEMA. ITS ON HIS BACK, CHEEKS, AND THE BACK OF HIS HEAD. HIS DOCTOR GAVE HIM A 1% HYDRACORTISONE CREAM BUT I WAS HOPING FOR SOME OTHER ALTERNATIVES. I DON’T LIKE THE FACT OF USING A STEROID TYPE CREAM.

i’ve had every since I was 3 and I’m 16 but it’s starting to clear up I want to know what causes it

my grandson is 6 month old and has very bad eczema in his face,head, legs and arms. his arms are very ruff in the touch. what will be a good product that will help him.

My younger brother has had eczema since he was born. He has never been bitten by a mosquito in his entire life. I have always wondered if there is a connection between these two facts. There doesn’t seem to be anything else about him that would cause this. He could walk through a forest with me (teenage girl), his cousin (adult male), and 5 of his friends (who are male and about the same age, weight, height, etc), and he is the only one who won’t be bitten. To other eczema sufferers: How often are you bitten by mosquitos?

I have really dry skin all over my body, coupled with eczema in certain places.

It doesn’t itch constantly, but often.

The sun helps, but between work and taking care of my household (eating, laundry, etc.) I find that it’s hard to get much sun and I can only do this in the winter.

I’m forced to use skin lotion all over my body every time I shower, and I have to use lotion whenever I wash my hands because the soap dries them out.

I’m sick of being dependant on skin lotion!

I try to drink 8 glasses of water everyday and it helps, but only so much.

Any other suggestions of foods I can eat or avoid, or other things I can use to help my condition?
