my baby sister has severe eczema that we are trying desperatley to control. we’ve had to use harsh topical products since she was really young, and are looking for alternative solutions. what do you suggest, and how effective is it?

more info, you don’t need to read this:
we have also given her different vitamins and minerals and probiotic tablets.
ways we control her eczema include:
-using allergen free bed liners and febreze allergen reducer
-topical medicines, and aquafor, aveeno, eucerin
-neem powder (which called a miracle plant in india)
-flaxseed oil and olive oil for cooking
-specialty foods that are allergen free
-air purifier
-sanatizing most things around the home using steam

An easy treatment for eczema on the hands?

I have eczema on my hands and it is driving me crazy! It’s ugly and annoying and I can’t seem to get rid of it. When I get it on my arms and legs I treat it with a hydrocortisone creme and that ALWAYS works but it doesn’t do a thing for the eczema on my hands. Any suggestions?

what causes eczema to develop?

what causes it to develop in the first place?
Thankss :) xx

I have tries cocoa butter, tissue oil and a few creams that promise to even out skin tone and lighten marks but to no avail. Can anyone give me names of products to use, note that i have very sensistive eczema prone skin and react to most products.

My baby son has eczema his 5 months i need a cure?

My baby is 5 months old his had eczema on his face for a couple of months now, side of his face was infected, its gotten better with the help of an antibiotic cream and sigmacort cream which is a hydrocortisone cream, however he is always still itchy , after moisturising with Dermeveen lotion its like it flared up more can this be the case. His breastfed, can it be my diet? What can i do that will stop his itchness?

I have Keratosis pilaris (a form of eczema) and I’ve been trying to find something to treat it. I’ve seen a lot of sites that sell dead sea products, they say it helps by cleaning out the skin follicles. What I’m wondering is if any type of sea salt really helps or if the companies lie to sell their products like most people do? I’m sure someone here has some experience with this type of thing and any help would be greatly appreciated.

What causes gravitational eczema?

could it be due to extreme stress?
Thanks in advance!

My boyfriend has been dealing with eczema for quite some time now, and he’s seen doctors about it and has yet to find relief. We are now taking a route through natural substances to add moisture to his skin, and everyday we’re crossing one more off our list of what could help.

He expects immediate results, though, I do not think anything is going to provide instant relief. He’s beginning to lose his confidence and willingness to try other treatments. We used BioOil tonight, as it said it will soothe dehydrated skin. Tomorrow we are going to look for organic virgin coconut oil. Is there anything else that we can use to help? I’m doing the best I can, and I won’t stop looking until we find something to bring him relief.

Any tips and advice will be helpful, and I truly, truly appreciate it. Thank you!

As my doctor said there is no permanant cure for eczema only can be controld. If there is a cure I would appreciate your comments and answers.Thank you
