my almost 6 month old baby has eczema on her ear, face, arms and legs. Sometimes it doesn’t show but most of the time it does. She has very dry and sensitive skin. What’s the best treatment that’s safe for babies’ delicate skin? What causes eczema?

Hi has anyone with eczema found a beauty regime that doesnt irritate their skin? When my skin is sore, red and painful, I use hydrocautisone cream (which is prescribed by my GP) but the quality of my skin is very poor.
I know I really need to cleanse, tone and moisturize as well .
I would be grateful for any advice, or personal expierince on the subject thanks.

I have horrible eczema on my eye lids. They turn really scaly and flaky. I have used elidel but it only makes them burn. Is there a magical cream that can fix it and allow me to use eyeliner and eye shadow without it looking flaky and gross?

When my son was about 4 months old i took him to the doctor and he said he has baby eczema and that it will go away. He is now almost 7 months old and it just doesn’t seem to be going away. The doctor gave us some fatty cream and some Aqueous cream.
Is there anything else that anyone could recommend?

I have a six week old son with eczema. I bathe him every night. Should I be bathing him every other night? His eczema seems to be getting worse and I’m not sure of proper treatment for eczema. What kind of lotion is best for eczema? I’ve tried Johnsons, Aveeno Baby, Palmer’s, and am currently using Euceran Calming Creme which was recommended by a friend.

I’ve had this condition for a very long time. It started out on my left thumb and has spread to other areas of my hands. I don’t think it’s skin eczema spacifically because it’s not itchy…it actually extremely dry skin. It has different stages:
1.) Developes round like hard blisters
2.) Blister begins to peel
3.) skins becomes hard and dry (dead skin)
I am aware that I have an allergic reaction to, dust and dirt. I am also aware that it is due to lack of natural skin oil. I’ve been prescribed (external) steriods for my skin and ointment. Nothing has worked for me. Also, this condition has diformed the shape of my nails . Please help me!
